Garfield Loses His Feet
Published in Hardcover by Story House Corp (June, 1985)
Average review score:

GARFIELD RULES!Everybody out there keep buying Garfield books! They can be worth a lot of money someday and can become collector's items! I'm always going to keep all of mine so when I have kids they can read them!
When Garfield was funny. The mid 1980's was the highest point for the Garfield comic strip. The jokes were still fresh and funny and so was the artwork. One of the high points of this collection is when Garfield eats so much that he can no longer walk and spends most of the time laying on his belly. I recommend this book out of all of the books in the series.
This is the bestest book out of all of themGarfield is funnier, meaner, better than ever in this book and you would realy like this book.

Garfield Makes It Big
Published in Hardcover by Story House Corp (June, 1985)
Average review score:

Garfield makes it bigJim Davis has once again used his expertise to charm and captivate our minds in his explosive 10th collection of comics. His wit and humor make America's favorite fat cat come to life, now more gluttonous and hilarious than ever before. My only complaint is that the Sunday strips are not printed in color, but overall this is a wonderful arrangement of comics.

Garfield's Halloween Adventure
Published in Library Binding by Bt Bound (October, 1999)
Average review score:

Adventurous and thrilling and like the TV program!I love "Garfield's Halloween Adventure". I read it around Halloween every year. I've read the book more than I saw the TV program. Garfield and Odie do the town going trick-or-treating and are thrilled with every moment getting candy left and right. Then, things aren't so thrilling as they wind up in a real-life very scary and frightening ghost story and experience pirate-ghosts up-close. Young and old readers who love comics will be thrilled about this! HAPPY HALLOWEEN.
THE MOVIE IS EVEN BETTERA childhood Favorite.. I love the part of "candy candy candy candy......" lol.. Good funny not the usual ha ha.. but ho ho..lol Later.. Should be with all Halloween favorites like "The Great Pumpkin".
This book was very good.I really liked this book. It was funny and it was very exiting at the end. It is one of the best Garfield books.

Average review score:

this is one of the best Garfield booksThese three books are great and having them all in one is even better
A great book fun for all ages!Garfield's Jolly Holiday three pack is a great book not only because of the great stories inside but the price and the number. I've never liked garfield except tv specials so this book is great I think.
Perfect for the holidays!Garfield's Jolly Holiday 3-pack is a great book. It's just like the other Garfield Fat Cat 3-Packs, but it's in color. Also, they are based on television episodes of Garfield. My favorite was 'A Garfield Christmas.' I loved the price, and highly recommend it for holiday gifts.

The Gift
Published in Hardcover by Bethany House (October, 1994)
Average review score:

Lovely, short, inspiring bookHaving read several recent books by T Davis Bunn, I am used to his style of intrigue-based attorney adventures. This early book is quite different, but nevertheless, quite enjoyable!
As this is a small book with easy-to-read print, you will be able to finish this book in a short time. But the inspiring message will live on long past the last page.
A story of courage and "chance meetings" that bring two very different women together in one small hospital room. From initial impressions to conversations over a week to the parting of ways, you will see both of these women grow spiritually and find peace in different ways. A true feel-good book with refreshment for the soul.

This is a real touching book that I recommend to all girls.I really enjoyed this book so much that I had read it in about 4 hours. I was close to my grandmother and was a very sentimental person about gifts that were given to me. This makes you think more of the value of the gift thats given to you

Golf: A Woman's Guide
Published in Paperback by International Marine/Ragged Mountain Press (29 May, 2001)
Average review score:

Well done!My mother is an avid golfer and I gave it recently for her birthday. She thanked me profusely! She said it has helped her game and she recommends it highly.
It's All in HereAny woman who is considering taklng up the game would benefit from referring to this "guide"--because that is exactly what it does-guides you through all the confusing and commonly misunderstood aspects of the game. There's also plenty of info that even an accomplished player would find interesting and helpful.
GOLF: A WOMAN'S GUIDE SCORES A HOLE IN ONEI recently purchased Golf: A Woman's Guide for my girlfriend, and could not be more pleased!! It has proven invaluable!! Mrs. Comolli Davis provides a complete guide for women golfers whether they are picking up a club for the first time, or are preparing for their next LPGA event. On a personal note, the chapters that my girlfriend and I enjoyed the most were "Your First Time" and later "Swing Time." The Resources section is very helpful.

Great-Grandpa's in the Litter Box
Published in Library Binding by Bt Bound (October, 1999)
Average review score:

A paranormal comedy"Great-Grandpa's in the Litter Box," by Dan Greenburg, is #1 in the "Zack Files" series of short novels for young readers. The book is illustrated by Jack E. Davis. In this installment, young Zack goes to an animal shelter with the intention of adopting a cat. What he discovers is an ornery talking tomcat who claims to be the reincarnation of Zack's great-grandfather! This revelation leads Zack on a curious quest that involves two more generations of the family.
"Great-Grandpa's" is a fun blend of humor, intrigue, and the paranormal. The herring-craving Great-Grandpa is definitely one of the series' memorable guest characters. Overall, a solid installment in a consistently entertaining series.
this book was very intresting to readThis book has very great carachters. The author made this book very exciting to read. This book is very funny. The book made you feel like if you were at a fair or at a little kids school. The collection of Zack file books are very nice books.I wished i could read all of the zack file books.
A Crazy LifeI liked the book, there is always something weird going on in Zack's house. This time Zack wants a cute cat. Instead he gets a Tomcat that talks. The cat says he is Zack's grandpa. To find out if he realy is read this book.

Grey Is the Color of Hope
Published in Audio Cassette by Isis Audio (October, 1990)
Average review score:

Shades of Enduring Optimism; Hope against MonochromeRatushinskaya, ther very accomplished poet and former Soviet exile, has produced here one of the most rspectable and well arranged books of all time. I expect it will go down as one of the most prominent and exceptional gifts of memoir for the entirety ofthe twentieth century. Unjustifiably charged in 1983 for "anti-Soviet agitation and propaganda" (whatever that may actually mean is obviously conjectural)for her stance on human rights and opposition to persecution of personal religious freedom and conviction, Ratushinskaya was imprisoned with a sentence of seven years, four of which were filled. Her memoir here attests to a type of courage seldom seen in any era and exceed the sometimes absurd limitations imposed by politicoes as well, the genre of writing of such an ordeal. This book, along with the follow up ("In the Beginning") are highly impressionable, admirable and an answer to anyone who ever thought either one respected for their insights or convictions seldom put to paper such depth and maturity. I haveenormous repsect for her and can highly recommend to anyone this book.
GREY IS THE COLOR OF HOPEI found the novel not only to be beautifully written and inspiring but also very educational. It describes what commonly happened in the Soviet Union to people like Irina Ratushinskaya. It is hard to believe that life in prison can be filled with hope, friendship and such morality. The novel is a testament to the stregnth of a human spirit.
This book was so powerfulI started reading this book after finding it in my gramma's book shelf. I'm not a big book reader, but I couldn't stop reading this. It really shows the hardships of prison. Each page shows compassion, and strength, the depth and detail makes my heart go out to the women in the story. This novel left me in tears. It is one of the best novels ever written. Ratushinskaya is a wonderful writter.

Guide to Zanzibar, 3rd Edition
Published in Paperback by Bradt Travel Guides (April, 1998)
Average review score:

a new edition of Zanzibar has been publishedThanks JP for your kind words about my book. You - or anyone else reading this - might like to know I've written another new edition recently. The fifth edition of 'Zanzibar - the Bradt Travel Guide' was published in Jan 2003. It's been totally revised, and it's bigger and better than the last edition - well, naturally, I think it's better! But it's not just me. It's been well reviewed elsewhere too. Zanzibar is still a wonderful place, and I hope it continues to prosper.
Stop ShoppingDon't bother looking any further for a guide, Bradt outdoes them all. Zanzibar, while extremely laid-back and peaceful can be a bit complex, if only because it's on the other side of the planet (for 99% of the world, anyway). The author does a fantastic job of explaining the nuances, accurately rating and describing the various tourist facilities, and helping to acclimate the reader before arrival (He's also not too shy to review his own book, I see). I've had two Bradt guides, and each time I've purchased the same guide from another publisher....each time I've ended up discarding the other in favor of the Bradt. Don't waste your money....
I admit it!I'm the author of this book! But there seems to be no space for editorial comment on this page. I have visited the islands of Zanzibar several times since the mid-1980s. Until recently, the greatest impression the islands made on me was the 'un-spoiltness' of it all. This was mainly due to the local political situation and the efforts required by travellers just to reach Zanzibar. In 1985, for example, before the days of high-speed catamarans, the intending visitor had to contend with long and uncomfortable dhow-rides !!However, since then many new hotels have been built and the transport services from the mainland have definitely improved. More visitors come to Zanzibar now than ever before, but it's still only a trickle compared to some other tourist destinations in Africa. Although Zanzibar may have lost some of its isolation, many parts of the islands still retain their unique atmosphere of peace, charm and remoteness. It's always a pleasure to return to Zanzibar to write a new edition. Things have changed, but I'm pretty sure we've got most things in this new book. It's certainly larger than the last edition! I hope you enjoy Zanzibar.
